West New York Helps Woman Seriously Injured After Pinned By Van Iris Flores has had five surgeries since she was pinned by a reversing van on Wednesday, Sept. 6. The incident caused multiple fractures on her pelvic bone, spine, hips and legs, along with other internal wounds. Flores faces future surgeries and will undergo physical therapy.  A fundraiser has been set up to assist with her recovery.
