Mystery Animal Found In PA Escapes Wildlife Shelter Days Into DNA Testing Less than a week after experts began treating and testing the DNA of a mysterious animal found in central Pennsylvania, the animal got loose. Penn State Volleyball Player Killed In York County Crash, Coroner Says A 19-year-old Penn State grad died the day after a single-vehicle crash in Adams County, according to a release by the York County Coroner's office. Courtney Groft, 19, of first block of Sedgwick Drive located in Reading Township, Adams County, was pronounced dead at WellSpan York Hospital on Saturday at 3:10 p.m., the release states. Groft lost control of her vehicle and struck a telephone pole at 2325 East Berlin Road in Adams County on Friday night at approximately 5:28 p.m., according to the release.
