Police: Driver Runs Stop Sign, Knocks Over SUV In Hasbrouck Heights Two drivers were hospitalized following a crash that rolled an SUV in Hasbrouck Heights. A Ford Focus driven by a 37-year-old borough resident was heading east on Springfield Avenue when it was struck by a Subaru Forester going south on Summit Street shortly after 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Police Captain Joseph Rinke said. The driver of the Subaru "appeared to fail to stop for stop sign and the vehicles collided in the intersection," said Rinke, the officer in charge of the department.  The impact left the Subaru on it side.
