Children Critical, NJ Drivers Hospitalized In Wrong-Way NY Crash
A wrong-way, three-vehicle crash in New York sent multiple people to the hospital, including two drivers from New Jersey.
Police responded to a crash in Rockland County at the intersection of Route 303 and Greenbush Road in Blauvelt at about 12:40 p.m. on Saturday, July 30, according to the Orangetown Police Department.
A 2001 BMW X5, driven by 20-year-old Thomas Robb, was southbound, traveling the wrong way on a one-way section of Greenbush Road, and entered the intersection at Route 303, striking a 2017 Chevrolet Cruze driven by a 32-year-old woman from Newark.

A registered sex offender was busted by undercover officers during a sexual predator sting operation in New York, officials announced.
Brian Reed, 33, of Sussex, was busted and indicted following an online sting conducted by the District’s Attorney’s Special Investigative Unit.
Rockland County DA Thomas Walsh II noted that Reed is a registered sex offender with a past conviction in New Jersey.

A white Rockland County man made racist comments to three black women outside a Bergen County liquor store, then smashed their car with a baseball bat, injuring two of them, before fleeing, authorities said.

Police: Dominican College Van Thief Chased, Caught In Old Tappan
OLD TAPPAN, N.J. – A driver who stole a van from Dominican College led police on a chase before he was stopped and arrested in Old Tappan, authorities said.
Not officially identified yet by police, the man was booked into the Bergen County Jail as Rah Ralla, 19, records show.
Charges of aggravated assault on a police officer, resisting arrest, eluding police and throwing bodily fluids at a law enforcement officer, among other counts, were filed, according to jail records.
