Toms River police arrested a 70-year-old local man twice in less than three hours after they said he got into brawls with customers and officers at two different Wawas over his refusing to wear a mask. Stephen Breza “became belligerent when he was told to wear a mask inside the Wawa store” on Route 37 late Saturday morning, state Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal said Monday. An Ocean County woman killed a former Manchester High School custodian she lived with using a shower rod and a tape dispenser, authorities charged. Mary Carbone, 56, was charged with murder in the slaying of 55-year-old Frank Stochel at a home they shared in Manchester, they said. Detectives arrested a 33-year-old Jersey Shore man on luring and attempted sexual assault charges after a YouTube creator lured him into a meeting by posing as a 14-year-old girl, authorities said. Authorities: Jersey Shore Teen Theatened To Shoot Up Graduation, Sought Gun
Authorities in Ocean County arrested a 19-year-old high school student who they said attempted to buy a gun after threatening to shoot up a graduation ceremony.
