Police responded to White Rock Elementary School in Oak Ridge around 6:34 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, where they made contact with Jean Audain, 57, of Spring Valley, NY, identified as the bus driver, Jefferson Police Capt. The Roosevelt Vanderbilt National Historic Site was awarded an Every Kid in a Park grant that will allow fourth graders free access to parks, lands, and waters through the summer. The grant will reimburse bus costs for 770 fourth graders for their field trip to the park.
