HIM? Clifton Woman, 20, Says Stranger Groped Her In Broad Daylight
A 20-year-old Clifton woman told police a man came up from behind and grabbed her breast as she walked along a downtown street. The woman said she was walking on Main Avenue near Hadley Avenue just after 8 a.m. July 2 when the stranger accosted her, reaching into the front of her top to grab her breast, before running away. She wasn't injured, Detective Lt. Robert Bracken said. : Authorities Concerned For Welfare Of Missing Clifton Woman, 87
SEEN HER? Concerned for the welfare of an 87-year-old Clifton woman who’d been missing for days, authorities turned to the public for help Saturday. Family members said they last saw Marguerit Lehmkuhl on Wednesday. Her 2006 Chrysler 300 was in her driveway early Thursday then was gone shortly after noon the same day, Detective Lt. Robert Bracken said loved ones told police. Lehmkuhl was described as 5-foot-4-inches tall and about 120 pounds. Detectives Check Neighborhood Surveillance Cams, Charge Clifton Man With Firing Gun
Authorities on Wednesday said they arrested a Clifton man after a surveillance camera captured images of him firing a gun into the air. Officers responding to a shots-fired call Monday in the area of Highland and Hope avenues found evidence of a crime scene but no victim, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Acting Clifton Police Chief Thomas Rinaldi said in a joint release. Surveillance cameras in the area helped them identify the shooter as Erik Aroche-Domingues, 25, they said. A 44-year-old driver killed in a Monday morning crash on Route 3 in Clifton apparently suffered a medical episode, responders told Daily Voice. The 2012 Hyundai Elantra driven by Anton Dittrich of Clifton veered onto the westbound shoulder and scraped along the divider for about 100 yards before coming to a stop near the Bloomfield Avenue exit shortly before 10:30 a.m., authorities said Monday afternoon. A 60-year-old Yonkers driver was killed in a single-car crash Wednesday morning in Clifton, authorities said. Denis Murphy was driving a 2010 Toyota Corolla when he “failed to negotiate the exit ramp” at the intersection of Route 21 North and Route 3, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Clifton Driver Killed In Route 21 Crash
A Clifton man died when he crashed his car through a sound barrier off Route 21 before dawn Saturday, authorities confirmed. Franklin Cedeno, 38, crashed his 2007 Audi A4 coming off the southbound ramp at Lexington Avenue just after 2:45 a.m., Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Clifton Police Chief Mark Centurione said in a joint announcement. Cedeno was pronounced dead at the scene, they said.

Police: Armed Trio Sought In Clifton Home Invasion
Detectives were searching for three bandits who forced their way into a Clifton home and robbed the occupants at gunpoint. The Knapp Avenue victims told police the robbers fled toward Randolph Avenue after the 12:30 a.m. break-in Wednesday. A cellphone and some jewelry were among the valuables taken, responders said.
