The resolution was presented to Jocelyn Gilman, executive director of the Red Cross of Northern New Jersey and volunteers Bill and Margaret Kelly. Also in attendance was County Executive James Tedesco.
“This is a an opportunity to thank the American Red Cross and their amazing volunteers for their efforts when responding to help the people during disasters,” said Freeholder Joan Voss. “This great organization provides service not only during disasters, but to our veterans, as well as first aid training and home fire prevention training.”
The American Red Cross responds to a disaster about every eight minutes in the United States in addition to 24-hour support for our military, veterans and trainings in CPR, First Aid and water safety.
