Kelly Luterzo was behind the wheel just after 9:30 a.m. when her northbound car veered off Passaic Street, hit a light pole and then careened through a fence and a guard rail, dropping off the wall at Shopping Center Drive outside the Marshalls, Detective Capt. Darren Sucorowski told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

Luterzo, a Lodi native, was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center with injuries that were characterized as not life-threatening.

Garfield police and firefighters, along with an HUMC EMS unit, responded.

Records show that a judge dismissed charges of resisting arrest, obstruction and child endangerment after Lodi police arrested Luterzo in September 2010.
