Norma Sackman was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center after the crash at Edgewater Road and Anderson Avenue, Police Chief Donald Keane told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.
And although a separate source told CLIFFVIEW PILOT it appeared the pickup truck driver wasn’t in any way at fault, Keane said his detectives and the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Fatal Accident Unit would have to make that determination once their investigati
on is complete.
Sackman lived on Kearney Avenue, right around the corner from where she was struck.
