Washington Township driver, 76, smashes car into neighbor’s house

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A 76-year-old Washington Township man backed his car out of his driveway this morning and kept going — all the way across the street, up his neighbor’s driveway and into the house.

He was taken to HackensackUMC at Pascack Vally in Westwood after complaining of knee pain, township police said.

The house apparently didn’t sustain any serious structural damage, they added. However, the porch of the Fern Street home was damaged, as well as the man’s vehicle.

Somehow it missed another car parked in the driveway.
