Warning: Escapee believed headed to NJ is crazed and dangerous, cops say

Escapee Albert James Voute III — a dangerous felon who fancies himself a modern-day Clyde Barrow — has tried suicide-by-cop in the past, which is why “America’s Most Wanted” is trying to get the word out to the public not only to be vigilant but to be extremely careful if they come across him. It’s something that could happen right here in North Jersey.

Voute, 36, was en route from a Southern prison, on his way to a hearing in Superior Court in Hackensack, when he gave a private extradition company the slip around 2:15 a.m. Sept. 15. (YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: Escaped con from Bergen believed headed back to NJ)

Authorities suspect the white supremacist and former skinhead might have continued on to New Jersey and toward his former home in Oradell. Either that or a safe spot in New York City.

“Voute was wearing all orange when he escaped custody,” Deputy U.S. Marshal Mike Ulrich with the West Virginia Mountain State Fugitive Task Force told “America‘s Most Wanted.”

“Canines tracked him going north through a field in Martinsburg, W.V., and we’ve had no other confirmed sightings to date,” Ulrich said.

AMW, in its report, says authorities revealed that Voute has mental health issues and has attempted suicide-by-cop.

The convicted bank robber is also covered in tattoos, with a large portrait of Adolf Hitler on his back and a smaller one on his left leg. U.S. Marshals say he also has unidentifiable “tribal-style” tattoos on his left arm, as well as the word “Resist” inked on the back of his left arm and “Goyim” tattooed across his stomach.

Voute is described as 5-foot-9 and 175 pounds, with short black hair.

Authorities said HE SHOULD BE CONSIDERED EXTREMELY DANGEROUS.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged not to approach him in any way.

Instead, call 911.
