Three struck by elderly driver in Bergen park in Woodcliff Lake

BREAKING NEWS: Three pedestrians were struck, none seriously injured, after an elderly man out with his wife in Wood Dale County Park in Woodcliff Lake shifted his car into the wrong gear, authorities told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

Three people were taken to the Pascack Valley emergency clinic and two to Hackensack University Medical Center, county Police Chief Brian Higgins told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

“Fortunately, it wasn’t as bad as first thought,” Higgins said.
