Texas Man Charged With Exchanging Explicit Videos With Bergen Child, 12

HACKENSACK, N.J. -- A 20-year-old temp worker from Texas was arrested Thursday pending extradition to New Jersey on cyber-sex charges for explicit chats and videos with a 12-year-old Bergen County youngster, authorities said Thursday.

Robert Doverspike of Grand Prarie "used the screen names 'rsquared2013' and 'randomrobbie2013' to contact his victim utilizing the social media applications ooVoo and Kik," Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said.

"During subsequent chats, Doverspike would request and instruct the 12-year-old to create videos and photographs of him/her engaged in various sexual acts," the prosecutor said.

"He would also send images/videos of himself masturbating and instruct the victim to send him the images and videos of the child exploitation," he added.

Evidence was seized during a court-authorized search of Doverspike's home by officers from the Grand Prairie Police Department and Molinelli's Computer Crimes Unit.

A judge set bail in Bergen County at $150,000.
