Both Ali Hussein and Ahmed Mohamed are being held in the Bergen County Jail, with an indictment expected to be handed up by a state grand jury in Hackensack sometime soon.

Both were formally charged as adults this week in connection with the Oct. 10, 2011 robberies. Mohamed’s bail is $350,000. Hussein’s is $200,000.

One of the victims was stabbed in the chest, was hospitalized and survived, according to Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli.

The other “was not physically harmed,” he said.

The pair are charged with: robbery by force, aggravated assault with a weapon, unlawful possession of a weapon, receiving stolen property, and possession of weapon for unlawful purpose.
