Police got the call at 8:41 p.m. and found the woman in the roadway of Windsor Road near the State Street intersection, Detective Lt. Andrew McGurr said.

She’d been struck by an older model, dark-colored SUV type vehicle heading south on Windsor that never stopped, he said.

The Teaneck Volunteer Ambulance Corps took her to Hackensack University Medical Center.
