Carmen Marin, 65, was crossing Teaneck Road from east to west when she was hit by the SUV as its male driver turned left from State Street around 8 a.m., Capt. John Faggello told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.
Marin, who investigators said may not have been in the crosswalk when she was struck, was taken to the trauma unit of Hackensack University Medical Center.
No charges were immediately filed or summonses issued, said Faggello, adding that the investigation was continuing.
