After watching a series of street deals, an undercover detective with the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotic Task Force arranged to buy 20 bricks of heroin from 38-year-old Jama Robinson of Hackensack, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said this afternoon.

They took Robinson into custody, along with Damar Palmar, 27, and 29-year-old Jasmine Jemmott, both of Englewood, and charged them with drug distribution and possession offenses, he said.

They also seized $3,400 worth of heroin from Robinson’s car, the prosecutor said.

Robinson and Palmer were being held on $75,000 bail each in the Bergen County Jail.

Jemmott was turned over to Union County authorities on warrants. She was being held in the jail there.

The investigation was continuing and additional charges were expected, Molinelli said.

Englewood police and the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office assisted, the prosecutor said.
