Anand Clifton Persaud, 60, was apparently drunk when he tried to buy $10,000 worth of flooring from Lumber Liquidators, Capt. Robert Kaiser told Daily Voice.
A manager said Persaud handed him a phony California identification and Chase Visa card with matching information, so he called police.
Detective James Donatello and Officer Stephen Knatz got there immediatelyk and took Persaud into custody. They found him carrying 32 more bogus IDs with his photo on it, Kaiser said.
They charged him with trafficking personal identification and sent him to the Bergen County Jail, where he was being held on an arrest warrant out of Miami-Dade, Florida.
