South Hackensack police arrest Hackensack man, seize 600+ Xanax at Route 46 motel

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: Two South Hackensack police officers caught a 22-year-old Hackensack man with more than 600 Xanax at a Route 46 motel before dawn this morning.

Ronald Simon Jr. was being held on $35,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail after Sgt. Lance Kelly and Officer Gary Yannetti took him into custody at 3 a.m., Capt. Robert Kaiser told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

He was charged with possession of the pills and marijuana with the intent to distribute them, as well as with taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent.
