South Hackensack PD: Detective Finds $400 Lottery Tickets Thief

SOUTH HACKENSACK, N.J. -- A South Hackensack police detective nabbed a 19-year-old Salvadoran national who authorities said stole $400 worth of lottery tickets from the local 7-Eleven two weeks ago.

Detective James Donatello spotted Daniel Miranda-Henriquez on Moonachie Road and recognized him from store surveillance footage of the Aug. 4 theft, Capt. Robert Kaiser told Daily Voice on Wednesday.

Miranda-Henriquez was taken into custody and the tickets were retrieved from his Hackensack home, Kaiser said.
