Officers Rocco Duardo and Stephen Ochman picked up 44-year-old Ronald Kennedy of Euclid Avenue on Clinton Place, moments after police received the emergency alert.

He was carrying jewelry and foreign coins from a previous burglary, police said.

From there, Detectives Phil Carroll and Keith Morrissey took over, easily linking Kennedy — who, records show, has an extensive criminal history — to three other burglarires and another attempt.

Additional charges are possible, said Detective Lt. Jaime Barrios.

“The homeowner moved so quick,” Barrios said. “She was watching him as he tried to come through the window. As soon as he heard the panic alarm.

“Now, she’s helped solve a series of burglaries.”
