In both cases, the robber gave the teller a note demanding cash in $100s, $50s, $20s and $10s.
He was also wearing very similar clothing as in last Thursday’s holdup in Elmwood Park.
Maywood police this morning released a sketch of the man, who hit a TD Bank branch on Maywood Avenue yesterday around 4:30 in the afternoon.
They described him as white, 20 to 30 years old, about 5-foot-7 and stocky, unshaven and wearing a white cap with the hood of a black sweatshirt pulled over it, black pants and white sneakers.
He gave the teller at the Maywood Avenue bank a note demanding money in denominations of $100s, $50s, and $20s. but didn’t show any weapons, police said. Then he headed east on East Pleasant Avenue.
“No one was injured, but the teller was visibly shaken,” Detective Mark Gillies said.
Anybody with information is asked to call Maywood Police at 201-845-8800
