The victim told police that 20-year-old Kinzy “Lil Bitt” Gonzalez grabbed her purse, then hopped into a waiting car yesterday afternoon.
The woman tried getting the purse back by opening the car door and was dragged briefly before falling as it sped away, Detective Michael Colaneri told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.
Moments later, Rutherford police stopped the vehicle.
Arrested with Gonzalez were 23-year-old Clinton Steele and Anthony Davis, who turns 23 this Tuesday.
All three were being held on $250,000 bail each, charged with aggravated assault and strong-armed robbery. Steele also was charged with possession of stolen property.
The victim was treated at Hackensack University Medical Center and released.
