Newly-hired Officer Ryan Burke first spotted 26-year-old Aaron Hunt of Fairmont, NC (above, right) slumped over the wheel of a car in the parking lot of the Ramada Inn late Friday and took him into custody after finding him under the influence and carrying marijuana, Detective Jim DePreta told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.
The following day, Burke arrested Peter Lookofsky, 50, of Saddle Brook (above, left) outside the Ramada after finding him with crack cocaine in a parked car, DePreta said.
Lookofsky was charged with possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia and refusing to surrender drugs to police.
Both men were released on court hearings.
