Officer Franklin Laboy stopped the car for several motor vehicle violations on Central Avenue around 3 p.m. Monday, Detective Sgt. James DePreta said.

In the back seat, 33-year-old Glenn Urena of Paterson "began to move around within the vehicle in an apparent attempt to conceal something," he said.

Urena was carrying 218 baggies of heroin, 19 baggies of crack cocaine, a small bag of marijuana and about $300 in drug money, the sergeant said.

Police charged him with possession of heroin and crack with the intent to sell them.

Urena was brought to the Bergen County Jail pending a bail hearing in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack.
