The driver, 46-year-old James Nelson of Warwick, was wanted on a parole violation out of Peekskill, NY, when Officer Jared Shatkin stopped his car as it headed north on Route 17 around 11 p.m. Thursday, Detective Sgt. James DePreta told Daily Voice.

He and his two passengers -- Robert Cuddeback, 22, and Megan Siciliano, 29, both also of Warwick, were taken into custody and charged with various drug offenses.

Cuddeback and Siciliano were released pending court hearings.

Nelson was being held without bail in the Bergen County Jail pending extradition proceedings.
