The thief was described as Hispanic, in his late 20s to early 30s, about 5-foot-10 to 6 feet tall with a thin build, andwearing a blue and white t-shirt, jeans and what are believed to be Air Jordan sneakers.

The Catherine Street resident returned home around noon to find her back door kicked in, so she went inside, Detective James DePreta told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

He apparently heard her coming and came running down the stairs from her master bedroom, apologizing as he bolted past.

Witnesses reported last seeing him running down Lincoln Avenue. “He might have gotten into a car on the highway,” DePreta said.
