Ridgewood ‘Downtown for the Holidays’ marred by crash

The Chevy and Jeep collided at the intersection of East Ridgewood and South Maple avenues, sending the female sedan driver to Hackensack University Medical Center with neck and back injuries.

The Jeep’s apparently teenaged occupants weren’t injured.

Gridlock traffic conditions caused by the crash took awhile to clear after the responding tow truck got stuck in traffic.

Ridgewood firefighers assisted the EMS crew.
