Ramsey girl, 1, medevaced to St. Barnabas with second-degree burns

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A 1-year-old Ramsey girl was flown to St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston with second-degree burns this afternoon after she was scalded by hot tea, Police Chief Bryan Gurney told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

Ramsey Volunteer Ambulance Corps members, along with a unit from The Valley Hospital, picked up the child at her Airmont Avenue home around 3:30 p.m.

They rushed her less than two miles to McFarren Field, where Hackensack Unversity Medical Center’s AirMed One picked her up.
