Michael T. Mullins was being held on $30,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with attempted sexual assault, luring, attempting to engage a minor in prostitution and child endangerment.

Mullins “used the Internet to post online ads on a public website seeking young females to engage in sexual acts and compensating [them] with money,” Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said.

What he didn’t know was that he was communicating with Molinelli’s Computer Crimes Task Force, the prosecutor said.

Mullins “subsequently made arrangements to meet the purported child for the purpose of engaging in sexual activity,” he said.
