Prosecutor: Pound Of Pot, Half-Ounce Of Coke Seized In Hackensack Raid

HACKENSACK, N.J. -- Detectives seized a pound of pot, a half-ounce of cocaine and $2,570 in suspected drug proceeds from a Hackensack man during a raid on his apartment, authorities said.

Robert M. Akridge, 26, was ordered held on $25,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail on drug-related offenses pending a Dec. 7 appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said.

Thursday’s warranted raid in the 900 block of Main Street included Hackensack police and Bergen County sheriff’s officers, he said.
