Prosecutor: Hackensack Stock Clerk Had Sexual Relationship With Girl, 15

HACKENSACK, N.J. -- A judge set bail at $250,000 for a 23-year-old supermarket stock clerk who authorities said was having a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl.

Santos Alberto Gregorio-Lopez was charged with sexual assault and child endangerment following his arrest by Hackensack Police and the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit, Acting Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said Monday afternoon.

The girl told investigators that she and Gregorio-Lopez "engaged in sexual intercourse on three occasions within the past few months," Grewal said.

A first Hackensack Municipal Court appearance was set for Wednesday morning.
