During the probe, Michael Grado of Maplewood Avenue “used the Internet to have sexually explicit conversations, instructed the ‘child’ to masturbate, and made arrangements to meet … for the purpose of having sexual relations,” Molinelli said.

Investigators were waiting when he arrived at the undisclosed meeting point early Monday, the prosecutor said.

Grado, who is single and unemployed, is being held on $75,000 bail at the Bergen County Jail pending a court hearing Tuesday in Superior Court in Hackensack on charges of luring, attempted aggravated sexual assault and distributing kiddie porn.

The arrest was made possible by an officer on loan to Molinelli’s Computer Crimes Task Force by Bergen County Police, the prosecutor said.
