Port Authority: Arriving Traveler Had 4½ Pounds Of Heroin At Newark Airport

NEWARK, N.J. -- A Hudson County man was carrying 4½ pounds of heroin concealed in packages labeled “Café” & “Nestle Recacao” when he flew in to Newark Airport from Ecuador, authorities said Monday.

Port Authority police took 39-year-old David E. Molina-Haro of West 54th Street in West New York into custody on drug possession charges after finding the heroin during a routine inspection, the authority's Joseph Pentangelo told Daily Voice.
