Police: East Rutherford Woman Was DWI In Rochelle Park Route 17 Rollover

ROCHELLE PARK, N.J. -- A 61-year-old East Rutherford woman who police said was intoxicated escaped serious injury after she rolled her car on northbound Route 17 Sunday morning.

The driver sustained minor injuries, police said.

The driver was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center with minor injuries after her Toyota Camry hit a guardrail and the median and overturned at 8:19 a.m., Sgt. Ed Kukalski told Daily Voice.

Rochelle Park firefighters and ambulance workers responded, along with an HUMC unit.

The northbound highway was reopened a little after 9 a.m.
