Questioned by his attorney, Justin Glazer, 20, admitted ordering alcohol and soda from the restaurant and then threatening the the 61-year-old owner when he showed up.

Authorities said Glazer and his friend, 20-year-old Xhonero Shehu, gave the victim $113.30 in counterfeit cash. When he gave it back, they said, one of the robbers pulled out a .177-caliber Marksman BB gun and hit him in the head.

The victim, who spoke only Mandarin, then floored the accelerator of his 2010 Toyota, bouncing it off the other cars. With him was his 17-year-old son, who told police what happened.

Superior Court Judge Edward A. Jerejian told Glazer during Friday’s plea in Hackensack that he could have faced 10 to 20 years in prison if he’d been convicted at a trial.

Under the terms of his plea bargain, Glazer will be eligible for parole in three years and fourth months when he is sentenced Oct. 2.

Glazer was released on $100,000 bail nearly three weeks after the arrests.

Shehu already pleaded guilty, with an Aug. 7 sentencing, but also faces aggravated assault charges in connection with an arranged church parking lot fight over a woman that sent a 19-year-old Saddle Brook man to the hospital with a broken eye socket. READ MORE….

The Albanian-born Shehu has remained free on $50,000 bail, posted a day after the arrest.
