Officers Brian Kropp and Stephen Knatz discovered the drug after stopping Thomas Space, 24, of Plymouth (above, right), and 30-year-old Joseph Scibek of Luzerne (above, left) on westbound Route 80 the night of Jan. 24, police said after the arrests.

After buying it for a dollar a gram — a little over $450 — the duo apparently intended on selling it back home for six times that much — roughly $2,700, they said.

Space was released on a summons. Scibek posted $15,000 bail four days later and was released from the Bergen County Jail.

Both also received summonses for not wearing their seat belts.

A grand jury in Hackensack returned the indictment last week.
