YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: Authorities were looking for a vehicle that took off tonight after striking a female pedestrian in Fort Lee, causing severe injuries.
The incident happened just before 6 p.m. on Slocum Way.
The black vehicle involved may have front-end damage, police said.
Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli told CLIFFVIEW PILOT that his Fatal Accident Unit was investigating, and that the 36-year-old woman was still alive as of just before 10 p.m. at Hackensack University Medical Center.
