Paterson drug deal brings apparent shooting victim to Saddle Brook

ANOTHER CVP SCOOP: A man showed up at the Saddle Brook Volunteer Ambulance Corps building with an apparent gunshot wound in his arm around 10 o’clock Sunday night and was immediately taken to Hackensack University Medical Center, CLIFFVIEW PILOT has learned.

“It appears to be a drug deal gone bad in Paterson,” Saddle Brook Police Chief Robert Kugler told CLIFFVIEW PILOT late Sunday.

“We are initially and currently investigating the incident and circumstances at this time,” the chief said just before 11:30 p.m.

More information will be provided once his detectives were able to fully investigate, he said.
