Paramus police seek public’s help finding driver who hit pedestrian outside BCC

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: Authorities were hoping a student or other passerby helps them track down a hit-and-run driver who struck and critically injured a 37-year-old woman outside Bergen Community College tonight.

The woman was transported by ambulance to Hackensack University Medical Center, where she was listed in critical condition, after a northbound vehicle hit her as she crossed Paramus Road toward the college around 6 p.m.

“Someone saw something,” one police official told CLIFFVIEW PILOT. “It might not be much, but it could still be of help.”
