Naum Lavnevich, 57, pleaded guilty in Hackensack yesterday to a single count of health care claims fraud, admitting that he often was at an unrelated job — and even out of the country — when he purportedly provided services for Medicaid patients.

Lavenevich was one of six people charged in a state investigation into Confident Care Corporation, which is headquartered in Hackensack and has 10 satellite offices throughout New Jersey and in Florida.

Superior Court Judge Edward A. Jerejian set sentencing for April 10.

NJ Deputy Attorney General Jordan Mamorsky, Detective Kylie Mattis and Analyst B’leia Williams coordinated the investigation, according to Acting Attorney General John J. Hoffman and the state Office of the Insurance Fraud Prosecutor (OIFP).
