Detectives originally arrested Briane Bulaon on charges of showing pornographic images to another 11-year-old child when they discovered that he ” engage[d] in a prohibited sexual act or in the simulation of such an act,” which “caused [another child] to be nude for the purpose of sexual stimulation.”
Bulaon used social media “to pose as a teenage girl and initiate an online relationship with the victim,” whom he convinced “to create and electronically send images that were sexual in nature,” Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said for a news story following his arrest.
A judge cut his $100,000 bail in half and Bulaon was released from the Bergen County Jail on April 24, 2014, three days after his arrest.
Investigators who seized more than 125 downloaded images from him charged Bulaon on April 30 with showing some of them to two other minors.
He posted $100,000 bail and was again released from the jail less than a week later.
The ongoing investigation then turned up a 14- and 15-year-old who sent Bulaon sexual images, an indictment returned by a grand jury in Hackensack this week alleges.
Bulaon — who Molinelli said used screen names that included “kristendun”, “Kristen :)”, “kristendun04” and “Kristen Dunson” — got one of the teens to send him images on consecutive days in September 2013 and again in November, the indictment says.
The 14-count indictment charges him with impairing the morals of six youths in all.
