Officers assigned to a nearby construction detail surrounded the house after the Madison Avenue resident called the police desk on Oct. 19, Detective Sgt. James DePreta told Daily Voice.

Inside they found 24-year-old Michael Grieco of Shohola, PA.

"He claimed to be visiting a friend," DePreta said -- only that person "no longer lives at that residence."
