Napsack found on Route 80 in Hackensack no cause for alarm

ONLY ON CVP: A black backpack left or dropped on the Route 80 median in Hackensack this morning turned out to be harmless, New Jersey State Police told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

The Jansport book bag was found a little before 8:30 a.m. near Green Street.

A reader texted in the discovery to CLIFFVIEW PILOT and said an NJSP trooper was at the scene.

State Police from the Totowa barracks said it turned out to be no cause for concern.
