The 26-year-old cyclist from the Bronx, Robert Marte, sustained only minor scratches and bruises to his left arm and right knee and was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center after the 4 p.m. crash, NJSP Sgt. First Class Gregory Williams told CLIFFVIEW PILOT tonight.

State Police moments earlier got a call of “an erratic driver doing triple digits,” Williams said.

Newark Turnpike troopers responded, along with Teaneck police, firefighters and ambulance workers.
