Motorcyclist critical after being thrown in Route 17 Hasbrouck Heights crash

UPDATE: A motorcyclist was hospitalized with critical injuries after being thrown when his bike rear-ended a vehicle on northbound Route 17 tonight, responders told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

The unconscious victim was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center with severe head trauma and wrist injuries after the crash at Williams Avenue around 9 p.m., they said.

Northbound Route 17 was closed at Franklin Avenue.
