Motor scooter rider critically injured in Saddle Brook Route 46 crash

ONLY ON CVP: A 44-year-old motor scooter rider was in critical condition at Hackensack University Medical Center after his vehicle slammed into the back of a van stopped at a light on Route 46 in Saddle Brook.

The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Fatal Accident Unit was investigating along with Saddle Brook police following the early evening crash at the intersection of Fifth Street.

Traffic was backed up to the Passaic River during the cleanup and investigation on the eastbound highway.
