The investigation began after the girl told her mother that each “forcibly engaged in inappropriate sexual activity…individually and on separate occasions,” Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said this afternoon.

Members of Molinelli’s Special Victims Unit and the Hackensack Police Department, in turn, seized the teen on Monday, then took 54-year-old Vincente Cunalata into custody yesterday.

They were searching today or Luis Solano, a 40-year-old divorced landscaper from Hackensack, he said.

Cunalata was being held on $300,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault and child endangerment.

A warrant for Solano’s arrest lists the same charges, Molinelli said.

Detectives signed a juvenile complaint against the boy alleging the same crimes, he said. He was being held at the Bergen County Juvenile Detention Center in Teterboro.

Anyone who knows where to find Solano is asked to call Hackensack police: (201) 646-7777.
