Justin Moran, 21, had talked of getting new sneakers, police said, so they went with the parents to the mall hoping someone had seen him there.
“He’s in good shape, first and foremost,” Lyndhurst Police Chief James O’Connor told CLIFFVIEW PILOT. “He’s well and he’s OK.”
He’d gone missing before and turned up at the mall, the chief said.
The trouble, according to family friend Gina Pollut, is that “he’s never been gone this long and doesn’t have any money [or[ a cellphone with him.”
Lyndhurst police told CLIFFVIEW PILOT this morning that Moran was last seen at home on Friday. He’d been known to get on buses to Hackensack, Teaneck, Passaic and New York City, they said.
Unfounded reports were investigated this morning, including one out of Saddle Brook.
Family members also received another out of Bergenfield.
